CURRENT DATA ON THE 5 LEADING COVID-19 VACCINE CANDIDATES

Image
All the vaccines may require two doses to induce high neutralizing antibodies and T cell responses, which could make it make it more challenging to meet manufacturing projections. All five vaccines were able to induce neutralizing antibodies in study subjects. At their highest doses, the vaccine from Moderna produced the most neutralization activity across the five vaccines, though direct comparisons need to be taken with a grain of salt due to the different assays employed to measure the activity. CanSino Biologics reported the lowest neutralizing antibody titers of the group. AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford vaccine approached the 160 benchmark at its high dose. The Pfizer vaccine produced less neutralization activity than delivery of the lowest two-dose regimen (a pair of 1 µg doses) in a Phase I/II  study , supporting use of two doses of that vaccine as well. Sinovac Biotech reported that a two-dose regimen of their vaccine led to 90% neutralizi

HIGHFALUTIN RELIGIOSITY

Image
By Akin Ojumu As I have grown in my faith, I have come to understand and appreciate the simplicity of Christianity. That plainness is evident in the way lost souls come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ; “…that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Ever since the very early beginnings of Christianity, men have devised ways to complicate Christianity. For a variety of reasons, obstacles have been laid on the path to salvation. Like the Pharisees of old, men and women of God have erected insurmountable man-made barriers along the road to eternity. Through hifalutin doctrines, meaningless rituals, and ineffective ordinances those who want to live the Christian life find themselves engaged in a battle to overcome the traditions and opinions of men and women of God. The blood of Jesus shed for the redemption of our sins is now considered not potent enough to wash away

THE THINGS THAT GOD HATES

DR. THOMAS TUTTLE: THE "DR. FAUCI" OF THE 1918 SPANISH FLU WAS VILIFIED TOO

Image
During the 1918 Spanish Flu, epidemiologist Dr. Thomas Tuttle prescribed face masks and social distancing to slow the spread of the influenza pandemic. As a result, he made a lot of enemies. His detractors called him names and described him as an alarmist. Conspiracy theorists had a field day; they accused him of all manners of evil and devilry. But his public health prescriptions worked, and they saved millions of lives that would have otherwise died. The states that followed his advice had the lowest number of cases, recorded the lowest number of deaths, and had their economic activities reopened much sooner than states that chose to ignore Dr Tuttle and who labeled him a "Deep State Elitist". Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them.

WIDESPREAD EXPLOSION OF COVID-19 CASES

Image
The United States reached another daily high of COVID-19 cases yesterday as the nation added 75,600 new cases in one day. Six months into the pandemic, it’s now quite clear we’ve lost control of this virus sweeping across the land at warp speed. Nothing we do can stop this now. May God help us all.
