THE TORONTO “BLESSING” WAS A CURSE

The Toronto Blessing refers to a revival movement in charismatic Christianity that began in 1994 at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. It is characterized by intense spiritual experiences, such as uncontrollable laughter, weeping, shaking, physical weakness, and a heightened sense of God's presence. The movement spread globally, influencing thousands of churches with its emphasis on ecstatic worship and a belief in the power of the Holy Spirit (Source: Google AI).

Many of you who would watch this video have probably heard of the Toronto “Blessing Revival.” The two individuals behind the so-called “revival” are John and Carol Arnott. They run the Toronto Airport Vineyard Church where the purported outpouring of the Holy Spirit took place.

What if I told you that John and Carol Arnott were admirers and followers of the late sorcerer and shaman, TB Joshua? Would you believe it if I told you that these two individuals who led one of the most popular and widely received modern-day “revivals” learned their trick and trade from TB Joshua, a man who had a great influence on their ministry? Well, you don’t have to take my word for it. I’ve got video evidence to prove it.

In their lust for power, John and Carol Arnott went to and fro, and traveled all over the world, seeking powerfully anointed preachers – read that as shamans and sorcerers – who would rub off some of their anointing on them. It was this insatiable pursuit of power that led the Arnotts to the shrine of TB Joshua in Nigeria.

As you will hear John Arnott confess in this video, prior to coming to TB Joshua, nothing miraculous was happening at their Toronto Airport Vineyard Church. They were not experiencing spectacular demonstrations of power. The healing miracles they craved weren’t happening. According to John Arnott, they had at least three or four wheelchair bound individuals who kept coming to their Church but never got healed. 

While I don’t know the exact year John and Carol Arnott’s visited TB Joshua in Nigeria, it’s safe to assume that the 1994 Toronto Blessing had not occurred, otherwise John Arnott wouldn’t have claimed they were not experiencing healing power in their Church in Canada. Therefore, one can logically surmise that it wasn’t until after the Arnotts visited TB Joshua that the Toronto “Blessing Revival” occurred.

Upon John and Carol Arnott return to Canada, following their visit to a Nigerian sorcerer, an explosion of the supernatural occurred at the Toronto Airport Vineyard Church. Left, right, and center, people were getting slain in the spirit. There were uncontrollable laughing, barking, crying, and jerking. The minute John and Carol Arnott laid hands on anyone or blew air on the congregation, people would fall down, roll and writhe on the floor hysterically. Some could be seen staggering around as though in a drunken stupor. And there were those who could be heard making hissing sounds under their breath like snakes.

1 Corinthians 14:33a

“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”

Even though the Bible tells us that God is not the author of confusion, John and Carol Arnott attributed all of the strange occurrences at the Toronto Airport Vineyard Church to the Holy Spirit. The Arnotts would like us to believe that the Holy Spirit was responsible for the chaos and confusion that overtook their Church. It was the Holy Spirit that caused the congregation to erupt in pandemonium with people laughing, growling, dancing, shaking, barking like dogs, and even being stuck in positions of paralysis.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

Here’s the reality. The strange occurrences that took place at Toronto Airport Vineyard Church was certainly not the work of the Holy Spirit. The so-called Toronto “Blessing” was a farce. It was not a blessing at all but a divine curse on the children of disobedience who would not believe the Truth. 

The Toronto “Blessing Revival” was nothing but a satanic deception. John and Carol Arnott are demon-possessed charlatans who got their power from the pit of darkness when TB Joshua laid his hands on them. These two people are deceived deceivers who got duped by Satan and his human agent, TB Joshua. Any church, organization, movement, or “revival” that’s associated with or can be linked to the Toronto “Blessing” is obviously tainted and contaminated with demonic spirits.

Yet today, John and Carol Arnott are considered one of the God’s Generals. As a leading “apostle” of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) Movement, John Arnott goes around the world infecting hundreds of thousands of people with the same demons passed on to him by TB Joshua.

Now, if that doesn’t scare the living daylight out of you I don’t know what will.
