WHERE THE RAPTURE AT, BRO?
Yo, “prophet” Joshua!!! Where the rapture at, Bruh? Ain’t see no rapture. Ain’t even seen nothing. September 23rd is here, and yet I’m still here, man. What’s gwan, Brah?
Today ain’t no different than yesterday; it’s same s**t, different day. And to put it in the immortal words of Captain Archibald Haddock of Tintin, this here is “Billions of bilious blue blistering barnacles in a thundering typhoon!!!”
This is exactly what happens with all false prophets. They end up with egg on their ungodly faces when their prophecies don’t come to pass. As it is with “prophet” Joshua who vowed God told him that the Rapture would happen on September 23, 2025 so it is with Kenneth Copeland who in April 2020 “prophetically” declared: “COVID-19! Pfffttt”!!! I blow, the wind of God, on you. You are destroyed forever. And you will never be back,” only for the COVID-19 pandemic to get even worse.
What all false prophets fail to understand is that claiming God said when God has not said amounts to taking the Name of God into vanity which is a violation of the 3rd Commandment. Anytime we falsely attribute to God anything, we are taking His Name in vain. When we irreverently misuse the Name of God, we bring disrepute and dishonor upon His character.
Exodus 20:7
“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.”
If there’s any lesson to take away from “prophet” Joshua’s failed 23rd September Rapture prophecy, it’s to see it as a reminder to everyone who sheepishly follow false prophets and are easily susceptible to their lying words. Wake up from your slumber. Quit being a fool.
Likewise, the failure of “prophet” Joshua’s prophecy is also a warning to all the false prophets out there who are still in the business of perpetrating their scam by ascribing to God words that God has not spoken. The penalty for giving false prophecy is capital punishment.
Deuteronomy 18:20
“But if any prophet dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or to speak in the name of other gods, that prophet must be put to death.”
If you think God has lowered His standard for precision of prophecy, you are grossly mistaken. If you believe capital punishment for giving false prophecy is an Old Testament thing, you are in for a rude shock in the afterlife. Eternity doom and gloom awaits anyone and everyone who would declare, “Thus saith the LORD,” when the LORD has said no such thing.
