ISAAC OMOLEHIN STEALS GOD’S GLORY
By Akin Ojumu
It saddens me greatly to say this, but I’m going to say it anyway. Many of you who will watch this video are too spiritually blind and too far lost to see that what Mr. Isaac Omolehin is saying here is nothing short of satanic. The testimony he gives in this video is pure evil. Let me break it down for you.
In his telling of this cock and bull story, he, Isaac Omolehin, of his own might and power, was able to remotely heal a bedridden young man suffering from severed spine by sending one of his associates to go lay hand on him.
And how exactly did Mr. Isaac Omolehin accomplish this miraculous feat? Well, all he did was touch the hand of one of his Pastors, named Francis, whom he then sent to go lay that particular hand he had touched on the sick young man.
“Francis is our Pastor in Lokoja. He came for the convention as well. So, I said, ‘Yes, come Francis. Do your hand like this.’ And I placed my hand on Francis' hand. And I said, ‘Follow this woman to University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital where his [sic] son is. Lay this hand on him, tell him, I asked him to be healed.’”
Before Francis departed for the hospital, though, Mr. Isaac Omolehin gave Francis a strict and important instruction. He must make sure he doesn’t shake hands with anyone he meets on the way. But why? You may be wondering. Well, let’s hear the old man tell us why.
“But don’t shake anybody on the way, because of power leakage.”
That’s right. Francis must not touch anybody with that hand that Mr. Isaac Omolehin has touched. If he did, the power in it would just dissipate like a faulty circuit in an electric appliance.
All Francis had to do was to simply go and lay the hand, which he, Isaac Omolehin, had imbued with power, on the sick young man. He did not ask Francis to pray for the sick young man or do any of those menial things that powerless Christians do when they go on their knees before God and plead for His healing mercies. No, no, no. Not at all. Such an obsequious show of spiritual reliance and dependence on God is beneath a powerful man like Mr. Isaac Omolehin.
Being the obedient cult member that he is, Francis dutifully followed Mr. Isaac Omolehin's instructions. He went, did not shake hands with anybody, touched the sick young man, said to him, “Baba Omolehin sent me to lay hand on you so that you may be well.”
And because of that, the sick young man was healed. It was a miracle engineered and effectuated solely by Isaac Omolehin’s power. The severed spine of the young man was made whole because Francis, a messenger of Isaac Omolehin, laid his hand on him, a hand which Omolehin had infused with power by touch.
To make sure his audience aren’t in doubt of the essence of this cockamamie fable in vainglory, Mr. Isaac Omolehin proceeded to make it plain to them that this is all about how people with power distance themselves from the hoi polloi in order to avoid power leakage.
“The point I’m making about the people in power is that they keep a safe distance. I told Francis, if you shake people, there will be power leakage. Keep a safe distance. Not many people are like you. And the people who are looking at you, they want to take what you have. And you did not get what you have lousily; you didn't get it cheaply. No anointing is cheap. The price is high.”
There’s no true follower of Christ who would utter this gobbledygook you’ve just read. It could only have proceeded out of the heart of a sorcerer. People who harbor such a thought and believe in this kind of esoteric baloney belong in witches’ covens and gatherings of shamans.
Power leakage by people with power is not taught anywhere in Scriptures. You won’t find a single Bible verse where true believers in Christ filled with the Holy Spirit are cautioned to keep a safe distance from ordinary people so that they will not lose their power.
Worse still. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is not earned by human effort. Nobody works to obtain it. You pay nothing for it. It is charismata, i.e., a gift of grace, given to us by God out of His own sovereign will.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11
“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.”
The “anointing” Mr. Isaac Omolehin is talking about in this video comes not from God but from Satan. It’s only demonic power that people pay a high price to get. And I agree with Mr Omolehin, power from the pit of darkness isn’t cheap. Those who seek after demonic anointing do indeed pay a heavy price. To obtain dark power, people like Mr. Omolehin are required to sell their soul to the Devil.
You can’t be a true Christian and watch this video and fail to see it for what it is; a mere man attempting to steal the glory that belongs to God and God alone. The Bible is replete with warnings that God does not and will not share His glory with anyone.
Isaiah 42:8
“I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.”
It's the height of haughtiness for a mere man to attempt to take credit for what God has done. Yet, Mr. Omolehin arrogantly attributes to himself the healing of the young man with revered spine. He believes the power he gave to his associate was what made the sick young man whole. It was his expensive anointing that achieved the miracle.
Sadly, there’s nothing unprecedented about Mr. Isaac Omolehin’s hubris. The old man is just another degenerate soul in a long line of degenerate souls who think they can dethrone God. By appropriating to himself the honor and glory that belong to God, Mr. Omolehin is simply echoing Lucifer, his real lord and master.
Isaiah 14:13-14
“I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God, I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”
We find characters like Mr. Isaac Omolehin in the Bible who are card-carrying members of the confederacy of malignant narcissists. One of such was King Nebuchadnezzar. He was damned by God and turned into a grass eating wild beast because he appropriated to himself the glory that belonged to God.
Daniel 4:28-33
“All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of twelve months he was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, and the king answered and said, “Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?” While the words were still in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you, and you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. And you shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.” Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws.”
It was the same thing with King Herod. For believing he was god and not man, God caused him to be eaten alive by worms.
Acts 12:21-23
“On an appointed day Herod put on his royal robes, took his seat upon the throne, and delivered an oration to them. And the people were shouting, “The voice of a god, and not of a man!” Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.”
Awaiting Mr. Isaac Omolehin is the same fate that was visited on Nebuchadnezzar and Herod. This wolf in sheep’s clothing is a liar, a deceiver, and a thief who steals, kills, and destroys. It doesn’t matter that Mr. Omolehin presents himself as a servant of God and a preacher of righteousness, by his words and deeds the man has proven he is an enemy of God. He knows not the true God and neither does he belong to Him.
If you care at all about your soul, you will mark and avoid Isaac Omolehin and people like him like the spiritual plague that they are. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
