I INTRODUCE TO YOU LINDY-ANN HOPLEY, THE BRIDE OF CHRIST
By Akin Ojumu
This is Lindy-Ann Hopley. She is South African, apostle, evangelist, international singing and healing revivalist, inspirational speaker, a coach, and author.
There’s, however, one title that Lindy-Ann has that trumps all the aforementioned temporal monikers. Ranking exceeding abundantly above all her earthly qualifications, appellations, and designations is the fact that Lindy-Ann Hopley is the one and only bride of the Lord Jesus Christ. And she has a 100,000 carat diamond ring on the fourth finger of her left hand to prove it.
Well, here’s how it all happened, if you are curious to hear the story.
On this fateful day, Apostle Lindy-Ann Hopley was on her knees praying, sobbing, and having an encounter in her room when suddenly a man in a white robe appeared to her. Guess who’s come to dinner? It was the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Now, it just happened that a love song played in the background. The song was, “My love, would you marry me? My love, would you marry?”
Lo and behold, the Lord Jesus went down on one knee. As he reached out His hand towards her, Lindy-Ann Hopley could see a gorgeous ring full of colorful diamond stones.
Although she didn’t say it, if I must guess, the diamond ring probably weighed more than 100,000 carats.
Anyways, let’s continue with the story.
Still on one knee with a diamond ring in his hand, the Lord Jesus Christ said to her:
“Lindy-Ann! Will you marry me?”
As any sane human being would, or should, Lindy-Ann was shocked to hear Christ propose to her. So, the first thing that popped out of her mouth by way of a response was:
“Will you really have me?”
Apostle Linda-Ann was blown away by the surrealness and otherworldliness of the whole encounter. But after the initial shock and overwhelming emotions, Lindy-Ann quickly regained her composure.
Giggling with excitement and overcome with joy, Apostle Lindy-Ann Hopley accepted the Lord’s marriage proposal with a:
“Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! Of course!!!!”
Right at that moment, Lindy-Ann Hopley became the bride of Christ. She was no more the Lot Lizard and Jesus’s Side Chick on a Sunday. Instantly, her name changed from Apostle Lindy-Ann to Her Messiahress, Lindy-Ann Jesus Christ.
And that’s the end of the story. With no muss and no fuss, the Lord Jesus Christ had a secret wedding with Lindy-Ann Hopley and many of you didn’t get an invitation. That’s a shame.
Now, I’d be remiss if I don’t warn anyone who reads this commentary and allows skepticism to creep into their mind. You should know that it’s a grievous thing to question and criticize the one and only bride of Christ. If you thought that anyone who touches the Lord’s anointed – in this case, pastors and preachers – will be met with the fierce wrath of God, what do you think will be the fate of anyone who touches the Lord’s beautiful bride by questioning the veracity of her story and casting aspersions on her supernatural matrimonial encounter?
Additionally, I must also warn those Casanova men who may be tempted to train their side glance at Her Messiahress, Lindy-Ann Jesus Christ. The lady is taken. She is the wife of God and Christ and the bride of the Creator of the Universe Himself. If you love yourself, you’d steer clear of her. Don’t look at her. Don’t talk to her. If you don’t want to be consumed by her husband’s holy fire.
