CHRISTIANITY WITHOUT THEOLOGICAL WALLS
By Akin Ojumu
If you’d like to know what becomes of Christianity when it’s devoid of clear and solid theological boundaries, watch this video clip. The predictable and inevitable tragic outcome of a flawed understanding of Scriptures is demonstrated in this 90-second footage.
When the Church is not surrounded by distinct and sound doctrinal walls, don’t be surprised that it gets buried under an avalanche of heretic practices. A denomination not founded in the solid ground of sound understanding of Scriptures will find itself overrun by wolves, jackals, and locusts of all kinds.
This video depicts the uncanny similarities between the practices of the CAC White Garment church of Prophet Sam Alo and others, the “Realms & Portal” church of Apostle Edu Udechuckwu and his type, and the Eastern Mysticism occult of Kundalini Yoga.
The reason they all look and sound the same is because they all come from the same source and they all have the same origin. All of these places are establishments dedicated to Satan. It doesn’t matter what name they call themselves, their beliefs and practices are demonic.
You don’t need to be a Bible scholar to know that the shaking, jerking, chants, deep-soaking groaning, and gibberish babblings that you find among the various religious groups featured in this video are not normal. Even common sense will tell you that what they are doing is weird and bizarre.
Yet, these people will want you to believe that what they are doing is praying in the spirit. I have no doubt that they are praying under the control of a spirit. Whatever that spirit is, though, it’s definitely not the Holy Spirit.
Nowhere in Scriptures is it taught that a believer in Christ should lose control of their senses and behave like someone possessed by demons. The Bible tells us what the fruit of the Holy Spirit looks like, and it includes self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Order, decency, and decorum must be the hallmark of the assembly of true believers. The House of God is not a house of chaos and anarchy.
1 Corinthians 14:40
“Let all things be done decently and in order.”
Chanting, groaning, and vain repetitions while praying are unbiblical and ungodly practices of godless pagans. Heaping up empty phrases, irreverent babbles, and unintelligible gibberish are what they do in the occultic religions of the heathen.
Matthew 6:7
“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.”
Dear friends, do not partake in idolatry, rather, flee from all appearances of evil.
1 Corinthians 10:14-22
“Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry… what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?”
This is the Lord’s command, expressly enunciated and explicitly stipulated in the Bible. Don’t say you didn’t know.
