END TIME CHURCH WILL COMMAND GLOBAL ECONOMY

According to Bishop Oyedepo:

“The End Time Church will be in command of the economy of the world….the End Time Church will be in practical command of the global economy.”

If indeed this is God’s divine agenda, as the man of God claims, here are the questions I would really love for our dear Bishop to me help answer so that me too can begin to enjoy this mouthwatering prospects of me having a corner office, the size of a football field, with great view on the topmost floor of one of the tallest skyscrapers on Wall Street:

1. Where exactly is this written in the Scripture…chapter and verse, puuleeze!!!???

2. At what point in God’s agenda for the End Times are we to expect this well-deserved, what-on-earth-is-this aka manna-from-heaven, hostile takeover to occur?

3. Where does this fantastical turn of event fit within guaranteed tribulations, persecutions, and perilous times that the Bible says await the people of God at the End Times?

4. Could this be part of the iniquities that will abound, the fallen away and the deception of even the elect, and the love of many turning into ice…aka waxing cold...that have been prophesied? 

5. How does this takeover of the global financial market, i.e., the Dow Jones, NASDAQ, S&P, LSE, JPX, etc., by the Church figure into the rise of the Antichrist, that thing called the Mark of the Beast, and the whole shebang about the inability of anyone to engage in commerce without receiving the Mark of the Beast on their forehead?

6. Is it the same “people of God” who are in control of the global financial market that will go about branding people with the Mark of the Beast?

Don’t mind me, my eschatology is a little bit rusty, as you can see from my numerous questions. Can somebody, anybody with a body, puuleezeee help me pass my uninformed inquiries to the good Bishop????

BECAUSE JOB DIDN’T TITHE, HIS LIFE BECAME TIGHT

By Akin Ojumu Being the trust-but-verify guy that I am, while fact-checking a social media post by one of my High School friends, in which Bishop David Oyedepo was quoted to have linked the adversity of Job to his tithing habit, I was shocked, but not at all surprised, to find a 2019 video that did indeed confirm what my good friend shared.  In Bishop Oyedepo's telling, the real cause of Job's afflictions was his failure to pay tithes. According to him, God removed Job's divine security and allowed Satan to buffet him with calamity because the man was a habitual tithe defaulter.
