JOE BIDEN PICKS A NIGERIAN AS HIS DEPUTY TREASURY SECRETARY

President-elect Biden has picked Adewale “Wally” Adeyemo as his Deputy Treasury Secretary. This appointment makes Wally one of the highest-ranking Nigerians, if not the highest-ranking Nigerian ever, in the US Government. This is a freaking big deal, that should make all Nigerians proud. It is a worthy "quid pro quo" for all the votes Joe Biden received from Nigerian-Americans in the election.

So, now that Joe Biden has picked Adewale Adeyemo as his Deputy Treasury Secretary, I hope those Nigerians still on the 24-hr prayer chain, bombarding the heavens and asking God to send down His angels – i.e. the African Battalion – to overturn the results of the election in favor of Donald Trump – an election that Trump lost by more than 6 million votes, will now get off the crazy train, quit the spiritual jingoism, repurpose and redirect their spiritual gymnastics, and start praying for the success of Joe Biden's presidency, so that we all, I mean ALL and not just white supremacists, may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all goodness and dignity.

BECAUSE JOB DIDN’T TITHE, HIS LIFE BECAME TIGHT

By Akin Ojumu Being the trust-but-verify guy that I am, while fact-checking a social media post by one of my High School friends, in which Bishop David Oyedepo was quoted to have linked the adversity of Job to his tithing habit, I was shocked, but not at all surprised, to find a 2019 video that did indeed confirm what my good friend shared.  In Bishop Oyedepo's telling, the real cause of Job's afflictions was his failure to pay tithes. According to him, God removed Job's divine security and allowed Satan to buffet him with calamity because the man was a habitual tithe defaulter.
