MARCH WITH CONFIDENCE

God hasn't made anyone yet without a purpose. There's a reason you are here on this side of God's universe and still breathing. You may not have found the reason you are made, it isn't too late to discover it.

When you find your purpose, your life takes on a new meaning. Suddenly, you find spring to your steps. You cease to crave the approval and affirmation of other people or live by their standards. Then you stop counting, by the minute, the number of people who want to friend you on Facebook, and the number of likes your social media posts have garnered. What people say about you wouldn't matter as much as what God says about you, if it even matters at all. You are too preoccupied with fulfilling purpose to care about what the world whispers about you behind your back.

So, don't quit searching for why you are here. It is only when you find it that you are able to march with the confident assurance of someone who knows his life is completely wrapped up in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father.

BECAUSE JOB DIDN’T TITHE, HIS LIFE BECAME TIGHT

By Akin Ojumu Being the trust-but-verify guy that I am, while fact-checking a social media post by one of my High School friends, in which Bishop David Oyedepo was quoted to have linked the adversity of Job to his tithing habit, I was shocked, but not at all surprised, to find a 2019 video that did indeed confirm what my good friend shared.  In Bishop Oyedepo's telling, the real cause of Job's afflictions was his failure to pay tithes. According to him, God removed Job's divine security and allowed Satan to buffet him with calamity because the man was a habitual tithe defaulter.
