MYLES MUNROE & BENNY HINN’S GOD IS AN EMASCULATED DEITY

Myles Munroe asserted, and Benny Hinn concurred, that: 

“…Prayer is man giving God permission or license to interfere in earth’s affairs. In other words, prayer is earthly license for heavenly interference…God could do nothing on earth…nothing has God ever done on earth without a human giving him access…[God is] always looking for a human to give him power…permission. In other words, God has the power, but you got the permission. God got the authority and the power, but you got the license. So, even though God could do anything, he can only do what you permit him to do.”

Obviously, the god being described in this video clip by Benny Hinn and Myles Munroe is definitely not the God of the Bible…the Most High God...Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent Potentate, Creator of the Universe and everything in it.

Psalm 33:6
“By the Word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host.”

Psalm 135:6
“Whatever the Lord pleases, He does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps.”

Daniel 4:34-35
“…I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him who lives forever, for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand or say to Him, “What have you done?”

Job 23:13
“But He is unchangeable, and who can turn Him back? What He desires, that He does.”

It doesn’t require a great deal of imagination to conclude that the god Myles Munroe served, and Benny Hinn is serving, is an enfeebled deity too powerless to do what he wishes without requesting permission from the people who serve him. 

Myles Munroe and Benny Hinn have never known the Almighty God. By their words and deeds, these men are enemies of God. While the former is already rotting in hell, in a little while, the latter will likewise face the eternal consequences of his rebellion against his Maker.

HEZEKIAH AND JOSIAH: A CONTRAST IN RESPONSE TO GOD’S ANGER

By Akin Ojumu This commentary is an exchange I had with a good friend of mine who was puzzled by Hezekiah’s callous response to the prophecy of destruction that was going to come upon his people and asked what I thought about it. My Friend’s Concern: The response of King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20:19 puzzles me greatly. How does a father think this way? I tried to contrast it with Josiah ’ s response in 2 Kings 22:14-20 and 2 Kings 23. Josiah was promised a quiet death, yet he still acted! What made the difference? What’s the lesson here for me?
