AT FOX NEWS, LOWER GAS PRICES IS A BAD THING

When, in the past several months, gas prices were going up, Fox News blamed sleepy Joe Biden and his economic policies. They complained bitterly about the struggles of small business owners and the hardships ordinary Americans have had to endure because of increasing costs of goods and services.

Now that gas prices are coming back down, at a historically faster rate than the price of oil, Fox News is still mad. They think it’s a bad thing for the economy and they put the blame squarely on the shoulders of hapless Joe Biden and his economic policies. 

The reason Fox News is mad that gas prices are coming down is because of the concern they claim to have for small independently owned gas stations because of the incredible risk and reward calculations they must make now that gas prices are falling. To the folks at Fox News, lower gas prices is an incredible struggle for the owners of mom-and-pop gas stations. 

Out of the window goes the concern they had for small business owners, and no longer are they bothered about the struggles of ordinary Americans because of the high costs they had to pay for goods and services when gas prices were high. What’s most important to Fox News now that gas prices are coming down again are the travails of owners of small gas stations who now have to sell gasoline at lower prices. Never mind that gas stations actually make their money from the convenience stores attached to the gas stations and not from selling gasoline itself.

Poor Joe. Fox News blames him when the economy takes a turn for the worse, and they get pretty mad at him when the economy picks up steam and roars back up again as a result of the economic policies he puts in place; Joe Biden is damned if he does, and he’s damned if he doesn’t. Either way, sleepy Joe is f....d.

There’s nothing the old man can do to please the folks at Fox News. In the eyes of the MAGA propagandists, no good thing can come out of Joe Biden. As far as the promoters of white nationalist causes at Fox News are concerned, Joe Biden is bad for their vision of America.

BECAUSE JOB DIDN’T TITHE, HIS LIFE BECAME TIGHT

By Akin Ojumu Being the trust-but-verify guy that I am, while fact-checking a social media post by one of my High School friends, in which Bishop David Oyedepo was quoted to have linked the adversity of Job to his tithing habit, I was shocked, but not at all surprised, to find a 2019 video that did indeed confirm what my good friend shared.  In Bishop Oyedepo's telling, the real cause of Job's afflictions was his failure to pay tithes. According to him, God removed Job's divine security and allowed Satan to buffet him with calamity because the man was a habitual tithe defaulter.
