“Frequent-Flying Intergalactic Travelers”

Last time in this commentary on the houses of horror that are called Churches in Nigeria, we introduced the Myth and Mystery Churches. We identified them as those spooky spiritual folks who are characterized by mysticism, steeped in mythicism, and suffused with esotericism.

Predictably, this rapidly festering strain of corrupted Christianity has found widespread acceptance among Nigerian young adults who are easily drawn to the ecstatic and enthusiastic display of experiential pseudo-spirituality of the Myth and Mystery Churches. Not satisfied with what they regard as mundane Christian experience, impressionable university and secondary school students have fallen for the deception of made-for-TV spectacles common at Myth and Mystery meetings.

Presiding over the various denominations that make up this category of Churches are self-styled apostles who boast of having vast knowledge in the secret things of God; knowledge that’s hidden from their teeming uninitiated followers. As specially anointed men of God, they claim to have the highest level of security clearance which enables them to access some of the most highly classified secrets of the heavenly realms.

The celestial information that these apostles of realms and dimensions are privy to are so secret that God did not even allow them to be written in the Bible. These are top secrets that only a select few know about. And even the privileged few allowed to see this information can only do so in the celestial SCIF i.e., Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility in heaven. The only other secret place that’s comparable to the heavenly SCIF is the one located in the bunkers of the U.S. White House where America’s highest secrets are kept and accessed.

Because the Almighty God is incapable of effecting His will and purpose in the universe without the help of the apostles of the Myth and Mystery horror houses, He has appointed them to the highest security council in Heaven where they help run the affairs of the world. It is for this reason that these apostles make frequent intergalactic travels. Given their membership of heaven’s security council, it’s necessary for them to frequently go to Heaven to attend the security council meetings where they counsel God on important security concerns.

In fact, Osayi Arome, who is one of the leading intergalactic frequent flying apostles who sits in the heaven’s security committee, spoke about his heavenly travels at a 2022 conference. After gobsmacking his enchanted audience with his ability to access the power and mind of God just by studying the Bible, he proceeded to regale them with a fantastical tale of one of his numerous trips to heaven. Although he had been making such trips since he was 7 years old, what was unique about this particular celestial junket was that his stay in heaven lasted 30 days and 30 nights.

Hear him tell it in his own words:

“I gave my life to Christ at the age of seven. So, my walk with God began very early. I started…you know I told you the story…started having angelic visitations…taken to heaven…learning things about the kingdom. There was a certain month of…um...I’ve forgotten the year. But there was a certain month, for the entire 30 days of that month I was taken to heaven for lectures for 30 nights. If I go to sleep… whoosh!!!...the lectures continue. And I was being taught about the kingdom. How the kingdom of heaven runs. What God…why God chose man. Why he created man. Ahhh!!! For 30 nights. Hmmm!!!”

Just like Moses and Jesus before him, both of whom went up the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights to receive direct instructions from God, Osayi Arome was also taken up to heaven for 30 days and 30 nights. While there in the heavenly realms, he attended a special training program, reserved for a select few like himself. During this training, he received unique insights into the inner workings of God’s kingdom; an information nobody else has.

While taking this 30-day and 30-night special course, Osayi Arome was shown intricate secrets of YAHWEH that you won’t find anywhere in the Bible. For instance, he learned about how God actually runs his kingdom. It was also revealed to him the real reason God chose to create man. There were so many other things he was taught during this trip that if he were to reveal them, it’ll blow the mind of those who hear them.

Since Osayi Arome’s position in the spiritual pecking order is so high, it’s perfectly fitting for him to consider himself a reincarnation of Apostle Paul, like he told his audience while preaching at a London conference early last year.

“I can train you for eight months and after eight months London can’t contain you. I have that skill from Jesus. That’s…that’s what I do. I don't intend to be the most anointed preacher on earth. No! That’s not my mission. But I intend to be able to raise the most anointed preacher on earth. I’ll be doing well if I raise strong men for God. That’s my calling. My apostolic shape is like that of Apostle Paul. It was equipment based. That’s the apostolic teacher. Um…uhh…what's his name? Peter was the apostolic evangelist. John was the apostolic prophet. So, I’m like Paul. Yeah! So, I know my place. I’m not trying to become what I’m not. And that's why I fight falsehood with passion. Because it’s the major thrust of my existence. I’m called to build capacity in the Body of Christ.”

You see, Osayi Arome and his fellow apostles of the Myth and Mystery horror houses in Nigeria are like the “super-apostles” Apostle Paul spoke about in 2 Corinthians 11:5 when he wrote:

“But I don’t consider myself inferior in any way to these “super apostles” who teach such things.”

Like the Corinthian super-apostles who were false teachers and impostors claiming to be superior to Paul in authority, the apostles of realms and dimensions of the Myth and Mystery horror houses of Nigeria are the same egotistical windbags pretending to be what they are not. 

These bombastic frauds like to brag about powers they don’t have in order to impress their gullible followers. Boasting about knowledge no one else has, these blabbermouths ensnare people with itching ears who fall hook, line, and sinker for the fantastical tales they spin.
