GRASS WITHERS & FLOWER FADES

Man, regardless of how powerful, wealthy, or wise he may be, is nothing but dust. It doesn’t matter how highly exalted a man is, he remains an ordinary flesh in the sight of God. A man may cloth himself in majesty and splendor, and he may be wrapped in magnificence and grandeur, at the end of the day, he’s nothing but man.

“All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field…” (Isaiah 40:6).

At his very best, and in all his glory, wisdom, power, and might, man will always be man and nothing more than a mere man. No matter how hard he tries, man will never be equal with God or achieve the perfection and glory of the Almighty God. Man cannot match the excellence of the matchless God. 

“The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the LORD blows on it; surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God will stand forever.” (Isaiah 40:7-8).

When everything is said and done and his numbered days on earth come to an end, the glory of man will wither like grass, and his beauty will fade like flower. All that’ll be left is for him to stand before the blaring light of the White Throne judgment of the Almighty God.

“This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.” (Revelations 13:18).

A man may try to fool their fellowmen that he is God, but he isn’t God, and he’ll never be God, for he’ll always be nothing but an ordinary man. Just like the number of the Antichrist is said to be 666, the number of man, man will always be…MAN MAN MAN. He is forever shackled to the imperfections, weaknesses, and inadequacies of an ordinary man!!! And that’s all he’ll ever be.

If onto man you hitch the wagon of your eternal destiny, you are of all men the most miserable. Sooner or later, the same fate will befall the person who hangs the destiny of his soul on the arm of flesh.

There’s great peril awaiting those who esteem the word of man greater than the Word of God. Hanging on to what flesh and blood says while paying no heed to what God says is an invitation to catastrophe.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Biblical Christianity is based solely on the Bible and not on man’s carefully curated fables. The Bible is the manual of operation of the Christian faith. It’s the complete, infallible, inerrant, and all-encompassing source of all truth. All the tenets, dogmas, creed, beliefs, teachings, doctrines, and theology of Christianity are all written down in Scripture.

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12).

Only too late do deluded persons who ignore God’s Word discover that they are on the crowded highway to death (Bible Tool). If you care at all about your soul, you must unlearn all the lies of men and must, of necessity, discard all the deceits of demons. You must take a high dose of spiritual Dulcolax to purge yourself of all the bad theology you’ve stuffed yourself with ever since you got saved. Using a spiritual enema, it’s imperative for you to flush down the toilet all the unsound doctrines of your mind. 

Humans are like grass that withers and flowers that fade. Whatever glory man possesses will soon be gone. There’s a great price to pay for all those who, instead of adhering to the truth of God’s Word, turn to the myth of man to scratch their itching ears.
