ERA OF THIEVES, THUGS, & TOUTS (TT&T)

In Tolkien’s Lord of the Ring trilogy, we are introduced to a violent, and savagely race of monsters known as the Orcs. Once upon a time, these hideous creatures belonged to the race of beautiful, noble, princely and benevolent Elves.

It came about that certain of the Elves were corrupted by Morgoth, the first Dark Lord and primordial source of evil. The souls of these Elves became darkened with evil, and they turned into ugly, brutish, aggressive, and malevolent beasts. The Orcs became the armed forces of Morgoth of Mordor. They were the foot soldiers in the war against the other races for the control of Middle-earth.

Then, a fierce battle took place in the garrison at Osgiliath, the old capital of Gondor, between the race of men and the Orcs. Gondor was the most prominent kingdom of men in Middle-earth.

In the Osgiliath’s battle, the Orcs prevailed. Upon their victory, Gothmog, the captain of the Orcs, bashfully declared: “The age of Men is over. The time of the Orc has come.”

You can’t look at the current trajectory of Nigeria’s political experiment debacle and not conclude that, “The age of Men is over. The time of the Thieves, Thugs, and Touts has fully come.”

Nigeria enters a new phase in its existence as a doomed country. From here on, the ride is going to be bumpy, and the flight will be turbulent. What’s coming is nothing like Nigerians have ever experienced before. Daily reality is going to be tempestuous and everyday existence will be tumultuous. If you think things are bad now, wait and see what’s in store for you when the TT&T assume full control.

That Nigeria is a lawless place, is an inconvertible fact. But hold that thought, just wait until May 29th. Then you’d know what lawlessness really is. Those who complain about the violence on Nigeria’s streets are in for the shock of their lives. The definition of violent streets will soon become clear. Terror of unimaginable proportions will be unleashed on the land. Get ready folks, anarchy and mayhem are about to explode.

What’s coming is a fiendish bloodsucking group of extortionists, racketeers, profiteers, scoundrels, and miscreants. These murderous rabble-rousers will bring along a fearsome wave of terror that’ll unleash a paroxysm of widespread horror so great that even otherwise fearless men will be left gnashing their teeth in paralyzing fear.

The Thieves, Thugs & Thugs will take your sons from your home and conscript them into forced labor in their places of business to plow and harvest to make themselves rich. The souls of your male children they’ll darken, turning them into savages and unfeeling tools of mayhem.

Your wives and daughters will be seized from your homes and made to work as domestic servants. They’ll become objects to satiate depraved sexual desires, to be trashed and discarded like garbage when they are spent and worn.

The TT&T will confiscate your businesses and properties. These they’ll turn into political patronage to reward their underlings. They’ll seize the national treasure and use it to feed their bloated and corrupt bureaucracy. The national wealth will be converted to personal use. And you, they’ll turn into a beast of burden, no better than slaves entombed in indentured servitude.

This isn’t a curse. And it isn’t a wish. This is simply stating the obvious in very plain words. You don’t have to be a prophet to see what’s coming. For what’s certain to befall Nigerians, there’s no need to peer into the crystal ball. The portent signs are evident for anyone who cares to see.

If the Baale of Jagidijagan is installed over Nigeria, the people should kiss whatever is left of law and order in the country goodbye. In the unlikely event that the don of rogues is foisted on Nigerians, the curtain will fall on the age of virtuous men, and the era of Thieves, Thugs, and Touts will be ushered in.

For those who can, this is my advice, head for the hills. If you have no hill to hide, dig a hole and barricade yourself inside. Evil, in its purest form, is about to invade your place of security. Your safe zone will soon be overrun by men of malevolent intent.
