THE CONTRIVED OUTRAGE OF TEXAS NRA PUPPETS

Texas Governor, Greg Abbott, held a press conference today where he provided updates on the massacre that occurred at the Robb Elementary School, Uvalde, Texas. Joining the Governor on stage at the presser were Texas Republican Party local, state, and national leaders including Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, and Senators John Cornyn and Ted “Rafael” Cruz, among others.

There’s one thing that all the GOP political figures on that stage have in common, every single one of them is a puppet of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and they are all stooges of the gun lobbyists. In exchange for political power, they’ve all sold their souls to powerful people who profit from manufacturing instruments of death. Their campaign coffers are filled with blood money flowing from the ill-gotten gain from sale of machine guns that maim and kill.

Throughout their political careers, these men have been held captive by their masters. When the NRA asks them to jump, their response is often, “How high?” They’ve all consistently voted to kill every single gun safety legislation that has come up for vote in Congress or their State Legislature. Not a single one of them has a NRA rating that is less than Grade A, which is a stamp of approval from the nation’s preeminent gun advocacy organization. If there’s anything they fear more than Donald Trump, their orange god, it is for the NRA to give them an F Grade, which is an automatic kiss of death to a political career.

For these lackeys of the gun lobbyists to now express such phony outrage at the senseless deaths of innocent children in the hands of a gun toting lunatic is not only preposterous it is simply infuriating. The sheer audacity of their public display of pious indignation is evidence that these people are utterly shameless and infinitely soulless. These cynically devilish politicians have never cared about the poor victims of gun violence. If they did, they would have long time ago passed laws to make it much harder for crazy people to lay their hands on assault weapons.

But nope, they dare not offend their gun manufacturer masters. Because they are totally beholden to the NRA and are enslaved to gun lobbyists, these wolves in sheep’s clothing are not going to do anything to protect children from gun violence. All we are going to get from them is their ponderous platitudes and callous clichés of thoughts and prayers.

The hottest part of hell is reserved for them all.
