PASTOR ADEBOYE ENDORSES WHITE GARMENT CHURCHES

Pastor Enoch Adeboye was the keynote speaker at the grand opening of a new multi-billion Naira auditorium of the Love of Christ Generation Church, Cherubim & Seraphim (Worldwide) founded and owned by Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi.

By speaking at the event, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God lent his weight of spiritual authority in support of white garment Churches. The respected GO puts his stamp of spiritual approval on an occultic sect when he cut the ribbon to open an edifice dedicated to demons.

Perception matters, especially for a spiritual leader. The not-so-subtle message the fraternization of Pastor Adeboye with Mother Esther Ajayi sends to millions of his followers worldwide is that C&S is one and the same with RCCG and there’s no difference between the leader of RCCG and the spiritual head of C&S. Pastor Adeboye’s appearance at the event has elevated Mother Ajayi in the eyes of the Christian world. The GO of RCCG is basically telling his Church members that C&S is just another Christian Church and that it is perfectly ok for members of RCCG to go there for prayers and worship.

That a well-revered minister of the Gospel, and a leader in the Evangelical Christian community, is openly chummy with a pagan sect should surprise no one. As distressing as this is, Pastor Adeboye is not the first man of God to pal around with a priestess of a heathen cult. Apostle Paul, in 2 Corinthians 6:14-17, wrote to warn the Corinthian Christians of the same deed.

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

If before now you weren’t so sure, and it wasn’t so clear to you, that the Church is under attack from within and without, you need to wake up to the reality. Satan lays siege against the body of Christ from all angles. Daily, we are beset by news of a fallen Christian soldier and tales of a man of God who has strayed from the narrow path into the broad way that leads to destruction pop on our social media platforms.

Everywhere you turn, falsehood, deception, and compromise stare you right in the face daring you to put up a fight. The blurring of the bright line between true Christianity and paganism is a clear and present danger to the Christian faith. Sadly, many in the Church can no longer tell the difference between light and darkness. And there are Christians, so terrified of offending the men of God, that are unwilling and unable to call them out when they miss the mark.

Beloved, it is high time you worked out your own salvation with fear and trembling. The arm of flesh will never cease to fail. Quit holding up mere men as epitome of righteousness and stop worshipping men as gods. Pick up your Bible, wipe off the dust and study to shew yourself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
